Ben Buehler-Garcia

Ben is successfully collecting signatures and contributions in his bid for City Council.  The Ward 3 council race in 2009 was extremely close; this year Ben is bringing together an army of volunteers dedicated to seeing him achieve victory in November. Ben was recently quoted in the Tucson Weekly: "I think the challenges facing our community are jobs and the economy," Buehler-Garcia said. "Crime is an issue."

Ben has 25 years of experience with job creation and community development and has volunteered with over 30 Tucson organizations. Ben is a Public Policy graduate from the University of Arizona.

"Tucson is the 6th poorest city in the nation and crumbling streets and a dirty city endanger and embarrass us all. Almost 30% of Tucson's children live at or below the poverty level. Tucson can do better. Tucson deserves better."

Mike Polak

Bringing jobs to Tucson, improving infrastructure and public safety is the foundation of Mike's platform.

A graduate of Southern California Institute of Technology, Mike has a B.S. in both Electronic Engineering and Computer Science

After serving 7 years in the United States Marine Corps, Mike went to work for Northrop Corporation (1986-87), McDonnell Douglas (1987-94) and The Boeing Company, Long Beach and Tucson (1997-2012)
